Civitas students will host a Earth Week events on the outdoor stage at lunch April 7-11.
On April 11 there will be an Earth Day Fair with tables from different environmental organizations from across Sacramento, according to event co-coordinator senior Katie Hickey. The fair will be open to all students during lunch, and organizers are inviting a limited number of classes to come during fourth and fifth periods.
“Each group will have an activity or information about their work so there will definitely be something for everyone,” Hickey said.
Teachers can contact Hickey or her co-organizer senior Charlotte Ponder about bringing their class.
