For the seventh year in a row and the 12th time since 2009, a Rio Americano High School jazz band has been recognized as one of the top high school groups in the US by Downbeat Magazine, the print authority on Jazz since 1939. This year’s congratulations go out to our “Everything We Do Is Mingus” group, who are recognized in the June 2023 issue’s Student Music Awards.
