It’s that time of year again! Time to break out some of your favorite holiday movies and sit around the fireplace to watch a few.

The seventh best movie to watch is A Christmas Carol (1984). This movie is for those who aren’t in the Christmas spirit just yet, but have the desire to be. It reminds everyone that being grumpy won’t result well in the end. This Christmas tale follows the story of an elderly man, named Scrooge who’s not into the Christmas spirit just yet.

Next, in sixth place is A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) This is a classic Christmas movie that the whole family can enjoy. Despite being released in 1965, it just gets better and better. Besides the main character Charlie’s adorable dog Snoopy, the movie has tons of unique characters such as Peppermint Patty, a red headed tomboy who has a huge crush on Charlie Brown, and Charlie’s younger sister Sally. Together the discover the true meaning of Christmas, and have a few bumps in the road on the way.

The fifth place must-watch movie is Frosty the Snowman (1969). This meltable character, Frosty, comes to life when a magical top hat blows on top of him. He becomes friends with a couple of kids. Even though when warmer weather is near, frosty reminds the kids he will be back next year, and is sure to make you laugh. This Christmas movie reminds us what the holiday season is truly about, friendship.

Fourth place has to go to the movie Hebrew Hammer (2003) A movie about a Jewish boy named Mordechai Carver, who is made fun of at school because of his beliefs. When Mordechai grows up he is a veteran Israeli Defense forces and goes by the name Hebrew Hammer. He defends other people who are Jewish. But what is a movie without a villain? Hanukkah saboteur Damian Claus, the evil offspring of Santa Claus. The movie talks all about loving yourself for who you are and is super funny.

In third place movie is Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer (1964). This lovable cartoon shows us the life of Santa’s reindeer Donner’s son Rudolph. Rudolph was born with a peculiar nose and is teased for it. This movie will be sure to put a smile on your face, but not a red nose, of course. It’s a perfect movie to sip on hot cocoa while watching.

Taking second place is How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966) This movie and its remakes are laugh out loud funny. The Grinch himself is a cold hearted thief that eventually learns the meaning of Christmas from a little girl named Cindy Lou. The Grinch originally decides he wanted to take away all of his towns Christmas presents with the help of his cute dog Max. People love this movie so much and is a silly way to spend the night.

The absolute must-watch movie, in first place is Elf (2003). This movie reminds the audience that even though the holidays are for family, love, appreciation, and friends; there’s still room for laughs. In the film, an orphan accidentally goes to the North Pole with Santa and ends up growing up there among the elves. After many years, he goes to find his real father. This movie is sure to make your holiday a humorous one.
