Backpack issues
Carrying textbooks, lunches, binders, and many other mediums of school work, backpacks are a crucial part of a student’s life.
Many students prefer different types of backpacks and their choices could endanger their health.
Improper backpack use can lead to bad posture. Girls and younger kids may be especially at risk for backpack-related injuries because they’re smaller and may carry loads that are heavier in proportion to their body weight.
Different kinds of backpacks are also dangerous if they are too heavy. They said that if you use a messenger bag or even if you carry your backpack on one shoulder, you might develop upper back pain and injure your shoulders and neck.
Students that carry large backpacks often aren’t aware of how much space the backpacks take up and can hit others with their backpacks when turning around or moving through tight spaces, such as the aisles of a school bus.
But carrying heavy books on their back causes many health issues, such as bad posture, upper back pain and injury in your shoulders and neck.
