On March 2, two Rio sophomores achieved a four place spot at this year’s Northern California Regional Science Olympiad competition.
Samitra Naidu and Naya Winn have been top students at Rio since their freshman year.
Held at Mira Loma High School, this year’s Science Olympiad was fierce and competitive, but Naidu and Winn pulled off an excellent finish, placing fourth in the Disease Detectives category.
